Will The King of Faerie (Stariel #4) be available as an audiobook?

Yes! Podium Audio will be producing an audiobook for The King of Faerie. I don’t yet have the release date information, but it’s coming!

Is The King of Faerie the last Stariel book?

Yes and no. Yes, it is the end of Wyn and Hetta’s story and the main series. However, I am currently in the thick of writing Of Plants & Princes A Rake of His Own, which will be a self-contained spin-off novel centred on a different main character (Marius Valstar) and set after the events of The King of Faerie.

Will there be more spin-off Stariel books about other characters?

I don’t have plans for more Stariel books after Marius’s book at this stage, although that might change in the future.

What are your future writing plans?

To keep writing books! I have an idea in mind for a new series project, but I’m keeping it close to the chest until it feels a bit more fleshed out. Needless to say, it will be another romantic fantasy series because that’s how I roll.

I am in New Zealand – can I buy a paperback directly from you?

I am currently in the process of setting up my own webstore, where I plan to have copies of all four books available to sell locally as paperbacks. However, it’s unlikely to go live before the end of the year. In the meantime, you can ask your local bookstore to order a copy or check out this post for a list of online retailers.

Are there hardbacks of Stariel available?

Currently, no, but one day soon, yes! I hope to organise hardbacks before the end of the year.

What are your books about?

Faeries! Magic! Family! Drama! Romance! Excessive numbers of exclamation points! You can read the blurb for the first book in the Stariel Series and the first two chapters here.

What kind of books do you like to read?

I read mainly fantasy and romance, though I like other genres too. My favourite authors include Terry Pratchett, Tamora Pierce, Mercedes Lackey, Georgette Heyer, Brandon Sanderson, and Naomi Novik.

Where do you hang out on the internet?

Instagram is where you’re most likely to find me posting pictures of pretty books, coffee, and my cats. I also have a Facebook page and Twitter account you can follow. If you want to get in touch, send me a message on any of those platforms, or shoot me an email to aj AT ajlancaster DOT com
